A little access,
for a clear reason.
Input Monitoring
Wondrop watches mouse movement during file drags so shaking can open the shelf. It does not read keystrokes or the text you type. Allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Input Monitoring.
Clipboard and screenshots
You can turn each automatic capture feature on or off. Clipboard capture keeps copied text and images in local history. Screenshot capture adds references to new screenshots; macOS may ask for access to their folder. It does not use Screen Recording permission.
What stays on your Mac
No account or email signup.
What the app reads and stores
The shelf stores local file references and supported content you place on it, such as text and images. If automatic capture is on, it also stores clipboard content and references to new screenshots. Settings stay on your Mac; shelf history stays in the Wondrop folder in Application Support. Attachments dragged from apps such as Mail may be saved as files in that folder.
What the app sends
File contents and clipboard history are not sent to a server. The public beta uses the network only to check for updates and download release notes and update files. Report a Problem shows the report first and opens a draft only when you choose to compose an email.
What this site counts
We total update-check requests by day. The statistics store only the date and count, with no IP addresses or device identifiers. We do not count page visits or downloads, and use no visitor-tracking scripts or cookies.
Pin keeps a shelf reference
It is not a backup or protection for the original. The app receiving a drop handles copying or moving the file. Update-check counts include retries and manual checks, so they are not an exact count of users.
A beta to use together
This is a free public beta. Features and behavior may change. If something gets in your way or goes wrong, please let us know.
